Moraine Fondo+ BAMBINO 12/Moderate/32

Welcome to the Moraine Fondo+ BAMBINO

A FREE EVENT FOR ALL PBC MEMBERS TO ENJOY!

About the Moraine Fondo+

Our Moraine Fondo+ offers riders 4 options or more. The PLUS part gives the riders the choice to add on miles and visit McConnells Mill and/or enjoy the scenic paved trail that travels along Lake Arthur. The GRAN, MEDIO and BAMBINO routes will have ride leaders for each group. The PISTA route will not have a ride leader since it is on a paved trail and is an out-and-back route.

Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and a picnic lunch in their cooler so they can eat lunch following their rides and spent time off the bike with other members of the club. There are restrooms available for changing clothes and freshening up.

About the BAMBINO Route

The BAMBINO route offers riders a shorter distance than the GRAN and MEDIO routes but does have the same starting point. Riders have the option to add on the PISTA route, which is along the paved trail, getting their mileage up another 14.5 miles. The PISTA route offers a more casual roll while being close to your car.

What to Bring

Pack a lunch in your cooler for after the ride. Bring a lawn chair too. This ride will be a casual event where riders will enjoy the routes and eat lunch together following the ride.

Rain cancels. Registering for this ride ahead of time will enable you to receive automatic emails if this ride cancels. Please make sure that you check Portersville, PA weather forecast before making your decision to meet everyone there.

Routes on the ride cover mostly quiet country roads.

This ride is for moderate level riders who do not mind waiting at turns for others.  All riders should come expecting to WAIT AT TURNS.  We will keep rolling if we see everyone at the turns unless otherwise specified by the ride leader.  We will adhere to this policy for each ride.

Click the "Register Now" button on the right to register.

ROUTES WILL BE EMAILED TO ALL WHO REGISTER 24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE RIDE
