Remote Start Day & Multi-Day Rides
We offer opportunities for members to explore different areas together by bicycle while creating a social experience for you to get to know each other.  Our annual Shenandoah & Skyline Drive Tour offers our members an experience they'll love.  Members receive special pricing for this event.

Dinner Socials
All members are welcome to attend our dinner socials planned throughout the year at different restaurants.  These are opportunities to come together and enjoy spending time with like-minded fellow cyclists.

Nutritional Advice & Support (Whole Foods Plant-Based Diet Bias)
Learn from members what works for them.  Discover not only what food helps your riding performance, but also the nutritional choices you make and their effect on your overall health.

Access Our Members Only Section

As a member, you immediately have access to our Members Only section of our website.  In there, you get access to our route and cue sheet library, our ride leader guidelines, and more, including updates and news that are the heart and soul of this club.

Establish Friendships

Meet fellow cycling enthusiasts and make new friends, including road and rails-to-trails riders. As a member, you'll receive access to our online membership directory to stay in touch with riders you meet.

Route & Cue Sheet Library

Our Route & Cue Sheet Library will keep your wheels spinning through the year.  You'll be able to assess riding routes created by fellow cyclists in the greater Pittsburgh Area and beyond, including descriptions, cue sheets, and digital files. This valuable feature alone, representing countless hours of work, is well worth the low cost of membership.

Advice on Bike Fit, Safety, Equipment, & Maintenance
Learn from more experienced members on topics such as the importance of bike fit, road and trail safety, equipment selection, general maintenance, and performance enhancement.

Our Club Insurance Policy

As a member, our club insurance policy will be there to help you in a time of need if injured or involved in an accident while participating in one of our club rides or at one of our club events.  This benefit comes with your membership at no additional cost.

Opportunity to Help Organize and Lead Rides

Become a PBC Certified Ride Leader by attending our ride leader training and development program.  We'll teach you how you can be a great leader and have more fun.  This is one way to help yourself develop better riding skills and you'll have the support of the club along the way.

Local Group Rails-to-Trails Rides

We understand many have a passion for a good trail ride.  We love them too!  From the GAP to the C & O Canal Towpath, to the Allegheny River Trail, and the Butler-Freeport Trail, we have a blast pounding out miles and kicking some dust up.  So if you don't like the roads, come ride with other trail enthusiasts - maybe even take on a multi-day tour with an experienced PBC trail leader.

Cycling is a Family Affair

Include the family.  We offer family memberships at reduced rates, and multiple web accounts are available at no additional cost.

Member Discounts

Members receive special pricing for all of our club events, including our Spring and Fall events and our Shenandoah & Skyline Drive Tour.  They can also receive discounts through our sponsorship partners.
